Easy vegan pancakes

Vegan Pancake Recipe

The fluffiest vegan pancake recipe

Serves 2 • ready in


  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp veg oil
  • (optional) blueberries & raspberries
  • (optional) maple syrup



  1. Pre-heat frying pan on a medium heat (don’t add oil yet)
  2. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together
  3. Pour in almond milk and mix until fully combined and fairly smooth
  4. Add the veg oil and mix
  5. Add a tbsp of oil to the pan and let it heat up for a few seconds (note: coconut oil adds a nice flavour to the pancakes but can be extremely smokey. Be careful if your kitchen is not well ventilated)
  6. If you want to make flavoured pancakes, add your berries/chocolate chips etc now
  7. Ladle in the mixture (about 2tbsps worth) to the centre of the pan and smooth around into a circle
  8. Move the pan around to let the mixture even out
  9. Leave it to cook until you start to see it bubble on the surface – leaving little holes
  10. When you see the edges have cooked, turn it over to cook the other side
  11. Keep flipping over until it’s golden

Voila! Perfect vegan pancakes.
