The holy grail vegan moisturiser

Holygrail Vegan Moisturiser

Antipodes launched their 'Rejoice - Organic Light Facial Day Cream’ and it became the answer to our prayers: hydrating, lightweight, no residue, no toxins, perfect makeup base.

If you're trying to keep your vegan skincare as natural as possible, you'll love the organic ingredients:

All organic ingredients of manuka and avocado oil combine with macadamia and jojoba to balance and moisturize. Manuka flower oil has antibacterial, healing and protective properties to benefit the skin and the extraordinary collagen boosting powers of avocado oil soften and regenerate.

The fragrance

It has a vanilla and almond scent but it's so light and natural that you barely notice it at all. It doesn’t really smell like a fragranced product at all – just a little sweet.

How to use

After cleansing, use a hyaluronic acid (we love the one from The Ordinary) and then use a pea-sized amount of the vegan face cream. You only need a little and it goes a long way. It feels thick when you squeeze it out but it is quickly absorbed and then you can’t feel any residue at all.

How it feels

Your skin will feel really bouncy and hydrated and you'll find your makeup goes on like a dream. You might not even need to use a primer afterwards, depending on your skin type, as it does such a great job of prepping the skin. It has great lasting power so Often I won’t use a primer afterwards as I feel like it does a great job of prepping my skin.

It'll help to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day and keep any dry patches at bay.

The Antipodes Day Cream is £25.99 for 60ml, which is a little pricey but it’s so worth it! You’re paying for high-quality organic ingredients, and of course, it’s vegan and cruelty-free.

Perhaps pop it on a Christmas list!
